Fixed some thing

I just fixed a few errors in the previous post, that were due to my forgetting to escape HTML entities in some parts of code. Everything should be showing up fine now.

You might also have noticed that I changed the site title from “As A Dream” to just “Dream”. I prefer the shorter version. I like dreaming.

ETA. That’s odd…I had noticed that some of my fanlisting topics were showing, for example as “green” instead of how I would normally have written them, that is “eyes: green”. I thought it was some sort of weird choice I had made some time ago. But just now I checked a page I had just finished editing, knowing very well that’s how I had formatted my titles and alt texts, and poof! everything before the colon and the colon itself was gone, in every instance of these. Now what does this happen? Isn’t it really normal to use “something: description” as a format for title attributes? Why add some code to keep it from working?

Oh and, not that you really care, but I fixed the sidebar, as it was showing an empty Blogroll.

And Then There Were More…

I have added a few more poems I found in another notebook. My relationship to notebooks is quite, er, enthusiastic.

Je voudrais (I Would Love), Le tableau (The Painting) Unwanted and Wilted Flower are now all available for your enjoyment. As per usual, they are not addressed to children; however, none of them really needs an adult content warning.

I haven’t been posting much lately for various reasons I will keep to myself. Last week was exhausting. Well, not really. There wasn’t that much going on, but I felt constantly tired and slept a lot. I took walks on several days, but I still was tired all the time and had great difficulty falling asleep at night. That difficulty is still here, as can be seen from my posting this at 4:15 a.m.

Eric got a cold at the end of last week. Fortunately it didn’t last very long and he is quite fine by now, just a little bit left. He has an interview for a job tomorrow. I’m quite happy because I know his chances of getting the job are rather high and, if he does get it, he will be working much closer to home. He will be gone for much less hours per day and will be back much earlier, which will be good for him and will allow me to see more of him.

Speaking of jobs, I have an appointment next week with a girl from an organism that help people in therapy find jobs that suit them. I hope I can get to work (or rather to earning money!) soon.

Sorry About The Two Previous Posts

The two posts preceeding this one weren’t actually posted today. It’s not spring at all. They probably had no date because they were drafts, I’ll fix that later. Gonna have to wait for January. As you can see if you have an eye to notice that sort of things, I have done some cleaning of the posts. There are now fewer categories on the right, but I aim to get even fewer than there are now.

Spring Walk

I just took a long walk in the Old Montreal, for about two hours. The weather was just perfect. It was neither too fresh nor too warm, not too windy, not rainy, sunny but not overly so…I went to the old harbor, I love this place. There are a couple of ponds, one of which has some kind of “island” with a few trees and benches. I sat on the grass, leaning against one of the trees. This is such a comfortable position, your butt and legs freshened by the grass and your back comfortably installed.

I came back to delight in a capiccolo (spelling?) and tomato sandwich (with mayonnaise, of course). I just finished eating and am now sitting at the computer (duh!), listening to good music and drinking a huge glass of water. The one thing I longed for during my walk was something to drink, but I didn’t want to buy anything there because I knew it would be far too expensive. I was going to buy a popsicle in some shop on the way back, but then I remembered I have some delicious ones in the freezer. This means that I will have taken a lengthy walk, which is good for one’s legs, digestion, sleep and mind, at no cost at all. Isn’t it wonderful?

I’m still working on my novel. I haven’t written much since yesterday, but it is forming in my head progressively and I’m satisfied with the result up to now.

My sister and her boyfriend are going to the United States next Monday “to climb up a mountain”. This means that I will be alone all day long, unless Eric comes here. I’m trying to see one of our common friends (his best friend and a not-so-well-known friend of mine), but he’s pretty much always busy…

I know I have posted it several times, but, god, Green Day’s old music rocks.

I have finally made my first entry on As A Dream and already have an idea for the next one. I only need to gather a few websites and think of a longer entry to write along with it.

I still don’t know what I’m going to do next semester. I’m still in cinema for the university, but, for me, I’m not sure it’s a good idea anymore. My “deepest” vocation is writing and I know it’s

Quick Note on Categories

I have imported old posts from my previous personal site. Naturally, this caused a fuss with my categories, as you can see on the right. I have started sorting them out, but there is still a lot left to do. Within the next months, as I feel like it, I will convert some categories to tags, delete some, etc. For the moment, excuse the mess.
